iDiA Motor-CheckUp

iDiA Engine-CheckUp is the intelligent diagnostic system for checking the condition of engines by analyzing the engine oil. We use a drop of used oil from the engine in question to carry out a detailed content and condition analysis using a specialized scanner. The scanner shines infrared and UV light, among other things, through the test sheet dripped with the oil, and the resulting images make it possible to determine viscosity, coherence, soot, fuel and water ingress as well as several other factors. You will then receive the detailed, illustrated evaluation from us by email.

Particularly useful for minimizing the risk of expensive surprises when buying used vehicles, but also for spot checks or regular checks of the engine condition of your own vehicle.

How to proceed:

2. test:
The engine should be at operating temperature. Please switch off the engine. Before the test, remove the protective sheet and note the vehicle data, mileage and mileage of the oil on the label in the marked places. Now pull out the dipstick and hold the tip at a height of approx. 3 to 5 cm above the test sheet. Allow only one drop of engine oil to drip into the center of the test sheet. Hold the sheet horizontally so that the drop does not run, then place the sheet on a horizontal surface to protect the drop from moisture. At room temperature, the absorption time is between 2 and 15 minutes, depending on the condition of the oil (the older or poorer the oil, the longer it takes - up to 45 minutes for very old/poor oil).

Now scan the QR code on the test sheet with a cell phone or the camera of a laptop/PC. The code will take you to the Motor-CheckUp database page. Your test is registered automatically, but you must also enter your vehicle data, the mileage and the mileage of the oil as already on the test sheet so that the analysis can be as meaningful as possible based on the huge results database.

4. bag & send to us
Approximately 3 hours after drizzling the test sheet, you can pack it in the bag provided, then place it in the prepaid envelope and drop it in the nearest post box.

5. we evaluate & send you the detailed analysis
As soon as we receive your test sheet, we evaluate it with the specialized iDiA scanner and analyse the result. You will then immediately receive the explanatory analysis as a PDF by email.

Of course, we only want satisfactory results - if not, the analysis will help with a precise diagnosis.
