Aqua-Stop Electric Spray

Synthetic special lubricating grease for electrical contacts.

Due to its low internal friction, exceptionally light dynamic properties are achieved, ensuring contact even at very low spring pressure. Reduces contact wear and protects against corrosion.

WAGNER Aqua-Stop Electric protects electrical devices and installations from humidity and wet environments. It guarantees the electrical conductivity of connections and contacts - even under water, without the otherwise unavoidable short circuits and sparking.

Developed and optimized over many years, WAGNER Aqua-Stop Electric Spray infiltrates the layers of rust and oxidation as well as moisture that have deposited on electronic contacts and forms a three-dimensional protective barrier on the surface.

Corrosion-infiltrating active components regenerate the contact surfaces and improve conductivity. The protective film enables application under water and 100% water displacement for up to 10 seconds. WAGNER Aqua-Stop Electric penetrates deep into the surface roughness and provides an excellent capillary effect for the protection of components in assembled condition (e.g. printed circuit boards, circuit boards, coils, etc.).

Field of application

WAGNER Aqua-Stop Electric is suitable for the preservation of all types of electrical contacts such as on:

• Tuning devices, channel selectors, monitoring and control devices, mechanical regulators, potentiometers, switches, etc.
• Cable connections, plugs, lamp sockets
• joint seals
• Various types of switches in the automotive industry
• Steering column switches in motor vehicles
• Spark plug connectors, ignition distributors

Application

Shake the spray can before use and spray the parts/surfaces to be treated from a distance of approx. 20-30 cm.

The applied spray dries within a few minutes. Printed circuit boards and PCBs can also be treated with a brush or by immersion. After application, the treated area is protected for at least 1 year. For electronic contacts that are permanently exposed to water, the treatment lasts up to 72 hours.
