Bactofin petrol stabilizer

Petrol additive for 2- and 4-stroke petrol engines. Protects against corrosion and wear and also effectively cleans the entire fuel system.

Ethanol in fuel - problem factor no. 1

Due to the increasing addition of biofuel, water can collect in the tank because alcohols attract water. Water forms a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, yeast and fungi, which can then wreak havoc in the tank.

Bactofin stabilizes the fuel

One consequence of this is the decomposition of the fuel during long idle times. This means that the vehicle no longer starts. Bactofin is used here as a fuel stabilizer, which is added to the fuel before long periods of inactivity (e.g. winter storage). It thus prevents this "tipping" and keeps the gasoline permanently stable.

Bactofin protects tanks, carburetors, injection systems and pipes from rust

The alcohol content in gasoline has also caused another problem: rust in the tank. Here too, rust is the result of bacteria that can live in the tank. They can form acetic acid. Acetic acid attacks any metal and thus promotes corrosion. Corrosion occurs not only in the tank, but also in the pipes, carburetors and injection systems, i.e. in places that are barely visible. Prevention is better than cure. With Bactofin to prevent rust.

Bactofin cleans the entire fuel system

Due to the ethanol content in petrol, the fuel is contaminated by bacteria. These microorganisms cause foam and sludge, which gradually clogs the pipes. Bactofin removes these impurities and cleans clogged lines with cleaning agents.

Bactofin - the better lead substitute

When using Bactofin, there is no need to use a lead substitute, as Bactofin also lubricates the valves.

Area of application

Bactofin can be used as a gasoline additive in all 2- and 4-stroke gasoline engines, e.g:

• Vehicles of all types and model years (classic cars, youngtimers, new vehicles)
• Small appliances such as chainsaws, lawnmowers, brushcutters, lawn tractors, ride-on mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, power units, etc.
• Boats
• Spare canisters

Other possible applications are

• Wankel engines
• Engines with catalytic converter, turbo, G-charger or compressors

Bactofin is ideal for winterizing/decommissioning vehicles that have been parked for more than 6 weeks. Simply add Bactofin to the tank before the winter break, then fill up with fuel and get going as usual in the spring.

The petrol stabilizer can also be used in petrol-ethanol mixtures with 5%, 10%, 15%, 50% and 85% ethanol content.

Dosing of Bactofin

Add Bactofin (preferably) to the gasoline at a mixing ratio of 1:1000 before refueling.

Example: For a tank with a volume of 40 liters, 40 ml of Bactofin is sufficient.
