Produktsicherheit
Petrol additive for 4-stroke engines - replaces the lubricating effect of lead in unleaded fuels and reliably protects older engines against valve wear and loss of compression.
Lead replacement lubricates the valves and valve seats
Lead was used in earlier fuels to lubricate the valves and valve seats in combustion engines.
Following the ban on lead in fuels, further lubrication ceased. Lead substitutes ensure that a protective layer is applied to valves and valve seats and reduces their wear.
Our tip
Instead of lead substitute, we recommend using our petrol stabilizer Bactofin as an alternative. In addition to valve protection, it also protects against tank corrosion and many other harmful side effects of modern fuels.
Area of application
Lead substitute can be used as a gasoline additive in all 4-stroke gasoline engines, e.g:
- Vehicles of all types and model years (classic cars, youngtimers, new vehicles)
Dosage
Add lead substitute (preferably) to the petrol in a mixing ratio of 1:1000 before refuelling.
Example: 40 ml of lead substitute is sufficient for a tank with a volume of 40 liters.
