Diesel pest is the name given to the sludge build-up on diesel filters, injection systems and power supply caused or promoted by biodiesel. Biodiesel also shows a tendency towards microbiological contamination. This results in slime-like emulsions that impede the fuel flow.

The diesel additive removes these impurities and cleans clogged lines with cleaning agents. Oil carbon, resin deposits and varnish on pistons, valves and nozzles are loosened in the combustion chamber.

We therefore recommend the preventive use of WAGNER Diesel Additive with a mixing ratio of 1:1000.

Diesel additive protects the tank, injection systems and lines from rust

The alcohol content in diesel has also caused another problem: rust in the tank. Here too, rust is the result of bacteria that can live in the tank. They can form acetic acid. Acetic acid attacks any metal and thus promotes corrosion. However, corrosion does not only occur in the tank, but also in the pipes and injection systems, i.e. in places you can hardly see. Prevention is better than cure. With Diesel Additive to prevent rust.

Area of application

Diesel Additive can be used as a diesel additive in all 2- and 4-stroke diesel engines, e.g:

• Vehicles of all types and model years (classic cars, youngtimers, new vehicles)
• tractors
• Commercial vehicles such as trucks, construction machinery, forklift trucks
• Reserve canisters

Other possible applications are

• Engines with turbochargers, Comprex chargers or compressors
• Also tested with SCR catalytic converters, particulate filters and high-pressure injection systems (common-rail, pump-nozzle) with catalytic converter, turbo, G-charger or compressors

Diesel additive is ideal for winterizing/decommissioning vehicles that have been parked for more than 6 weeks. Simply add the diesel additive to the tank before the winter break, then fill up with fuel and get going as usual in the spring.

WAGNER Diesel Additive optimizes every diesel fuel, whether agricultural diesel, standard diesel, premium diesel, biodiesel or native vegetable oil intended for combustion in diesel engines. WAGNER Diesel Additive is particularly helpful in diesel fuels containing biodiesel. Tested for diesel blends with 2% (B2), 5% (B5), 7% (B7), 10% (B10), 20% (B20), 50% (B50) and 80% (B80) biodiesel content. WAGNER Diesel Additive can also achieve improvements in 100% pure biodiesel (B100) and in premium diesel grades offered by various filling station brands.

Dosing of Diesel Additive

Add WAGNER Diesel Additive (preferably) to the diesel before refueling in a mixing ratio of 1:1000

Example: For a tank with a volume of 40 liters, 40 ml of Diesel Additive is sufficient.
