Octane Booster increases the octane number by up to 4 points

How many points the octane rating is ultimately increased by depends on the fuel quality. This can vary greatly depending on the supplier, country and region. A fuel with a lower octane rating of 95 can be increased more easily than a 98 octane fuel, for example.

Octane Booster is environmentally friendly

Our newly developed Octane Booster sustainably increases the octane number without harming the environment. Whereas previously manganese and other metals were added to octane-boosting additives to achieve the "boost", we have dispensed with such additives altogether for the sake of the environment.

Octane Booster improves combustion

By improving combustion, we achieve optimum engine performance. The engine burns the fuel completely residue-free. This also prevents engine noises such as ringing, knocking or re-ignition.

Area of application

Ideally suited for high-compression engines in racing vehicles, as well as for all other gasoline-powered vehicles such as motorcycles, vintage and classic cars.

Octane Booster can be mixed with any quality of gasoline. Also suitable for ethanol-containing fuels with 5%, 10%, 15%, 50% and 85% ethanol content.

Application recommendation

The application quantity depends on the quality and octane rating of the starting fuel.
Fuel qualities vary greatly, so no exact rule of thumb can be given for the application quantities. Low qualities can be boosted more easily than premium gasoline qualities.

Dosage recommendation according to the initial fuel quality:
92 octane and poorer qualities: 2% corresponds to 1 liter for 50 liters of gasoline
95/98 octane: 1-2 % corresponds to 1 liter for 50-100 liters of gasoline

High-performance engines are usually set "rich" (lambda value < 1) to ensure appropriate cooling. Further increases in performance and reductions in consumption can be achieved by tuning and adjusting the lambda value to the fuel "boosted" with the Wagner Octane Booster.

Up to 5 % can easily be added to the petrol to increase performance independently of an increase in octane rating. Accidental overdosing does not impair the fuel system or operational safety.

Wagner Octane Booster should be added regularly, preferably before each refueling.
